Nurturing Future STEM Talent Through the Power of Mathematics and English

The Penang Math Platform (PMP) is a specialized STEM center under Penang STEM umbrella organisation, an initiative by the Penang State Government dedicated to cultivating a new generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
As the mathematics-focused arm of Penang STEM, PMP is committed to strengthening foundational and advanced math skills among students, equipping them with the critical thinking, creativity, and analytical abilities needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.

The Math Magic Workshop is an interactive board game program for students aged 13–15 that builds critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence—all through fun and engaging math challenges.

SPEAK UP! WORKSHOP

An interactive workshop that helps students build confidence, communicate ideas clearly, and present effectively—especially for school and STEM subjects. Students will learn basic presentation structure, voice control, and body language through fun, hands-on activities.

Classes

Math classes

(Basic to advance Math tutorial for national syllabus, Singapore Math, Mental Arithmetric, and others). Flagship Japanese Math Class for pre-schoolers (6 years) to build entry level foundation for math appreciation and inter-personal communication.

Graphic Design+ @ School

Graphic Design+ @ School introduces students to the exciting world of visual creativity and digital communication. Through this outreach program, students will learn how to design using modern tools like Canva, develop creative thinking, and improve presentation and communication skills — preparing them for the digital era.

3D Design @ School

3D Design @ School is an engaging educational program that introduces secondary school students to the world of 3D design and printing. Through hands-on lessons, students learn to create, visualize, and produce real 3D products — developing creativity, problem-solving, and digital design skills along the way.

Japanese Mathematics Class (JMC)

Known for its focus on deep thinking, clear logic, and step-by-step problem-solving, our Japanese Math class helps students strengthen their foundations and develop sharp reasoning skills. With structured lessons, visual strategies, and engaging challenges, this class is perfect for students who want to master math with confidence and clarity.
